This is an absolutely gorgeous Bob Mackie vintage black dress from the 1980's. The illusion bodice has a neutral lining with a lace overlay that is adorned with sequins and ribbons, with eyelash scalloped edges. It is one piece, though it appears to be a top and skirt.

We especially love the paper bag style drop waist and the low V back. The skirt portion of the dress is in black moire taffeta with a black velvet bow.

The dress is in excellent condition, with a loose stitch here and there on the ribbons but nothing structural or noticeable when worn. It closes with a back zipper.
